At Katy Wellness Center, our resolution is to help you keep yours. So, one piece of advice is don’t take anything old into this New Year. We want you to question everything. Every attitude, thought, behavior, safety net, acquaintance, and relationship.

At Katy Wellness Center, our resolution is to help you keep yours. So, one piece of advice is don’t take anything old into this New Year. We want you to question everything. Every attitude, thought, behavior, safety net, acquaintance, and relationship. Also, question every habit, action, and tendency.

Every thought, idea, goal, and action stems from a root of intention. So, what is the intention of your resolution? Once you find the answer to that question, it becomes easier to stick to your resolutions when the world around you demands so much of your energy and pulls you away from your vision of improvement.

He who has a “why” can endure any how.

What if you questioned every natural reaction you have and ask yourself why? … Why did I say that? Think that? Do that? Eat there? Shop there? Why is she my friend? What would your answer look like?

Because someone told me to or I care about what others think. Or is your why because it’s really who I am at my core, and it’s a reflection of the real me.

I love the scene in Legally Blonde, where she says “no more boring pantyhose, I’m tired of being something I’m not.” And her co-worker says “maybe you’re trying to be somebody you are.”

In other words, if something feels off, you have another question to ask yourself. Are you doing something for the wrong motive, or do you feel “out of the box”? If you’re not careful, an “out of the box” feeling can mask itself like you’re doing the wrong thing. It may feel like you’re going in the wrong direction, but maybe, just maybe, you’re being stretched out of your comfort zone. Try something new. So, what happens when you leave your comfort zone? Self-care, Self-love, Healing, Confidence, Discovery, and Motivation!
