Taking Some Of The Ugly Out Of “Compliance”
You may have heard our doctors say things like – The amount of improvement you’ll see with the wellness program will be directly related to how willing you are to make the lifestyle changes.

You may have heard our doctors say things like –

“The amount of improvement you’ll see with the wellness program will be directly related to how willing you are to make the lifestyle changes…”

So what does compliance mean?

Compliance is a big word for basically, doing what you’re told to do! In our world of anarchy, rebelliousness, and “just do you,” we’re left with the stubborn feeling that rises up within us that sometimes leads to self sabotage. Priding ourselves that we’re educated individuals and free thinkers, while living in this beautiful country that allows us to choose a practitioner we feel comfortable with and that speaks our language, we still reserve the right to question what they say is true. But more often than not, after a few office visits, you know you’re in the right place and this person can actually help you! Whether it’s eating gluten free, taking our prescriptions or supplements, or even making the necessary office visits required so prescriptions can get re-filled, we somehow find ourselves in the situation of not doing what we’re supposed to do.

Honestly, how much time are we willing to waste in delaying our progress? As we enter another new year with “new you” resolutions, let’s reflect on how compliant we actually are, and be honest with ourselves about our own roadblocks. Without sounding like a yoga girl, let’s just all decide to honor ourselves and love ourselves. After all, our health and lives are worth it!
