Week 2 on this journey, and I cannot explain how good my body feels. I am losing inches all over, my skin is not oily anymore, my ankles are not swollen, and my tummy feels flatter every morning. My pants even feel looser. This is reason enough for me to stick with it.
The results are worth fighting for.
Everyone at Katy Wellness Center has been so helpful during my whole process. So, I went into the office at the beginning of the week because I was feeling like it didn’t take much to make me feel exhausted. From just going up the stairs or doing things around the house. The first thing they asked me, “Are you sure it isn’t just in your head”. Of course, they sent me home with an extra supplement to take for boosted energy, but what they said made me think. This diet is such a mind game! I have had to talk myself through a lot of things and even out of cheating, but I haven’t broken my diet yet which is surprising because I have never stuck with a diet before and had this much will power to keep it up. My reasons and the results have been my driving force through my journey. I ended up not taking/needing the extra supplement after all! I just had to remember that with the guidance that Katy Wellness Center offers throughout my journey with this diet, my body is getting enough it needs, it’s just the feeling of being deprived was still an obstacle I had to overcome this week.
SO OBSESSED… THE SCALE
You get so pumped the first week because you are losing all that water weight and then when you see the scale going down only by 0.2 of a lb it gets frustrating. I still weigh myself everyday even though some people don’t, but I feel like that is 0.2 of lb that is not on my butt anymore.
SO DRY… I don’t know about anybody else, but I can’t stand the taste of chicken. Not being able to cook chicken the normal way has me going to the other proteins on the HCG list for my meals. Now, on another quest to find a chicken recipe that will give it enough flavor for me to want to eat it.
NO OIL… that’s ok. I have been now cooking with broths and/or non-stick coconut oil cooking spray. Check out the Orange Chicken and Meatball Cabbage Recipe Below! VERY YUMMY!
Overall, I have been on point with my diet and my water intake. Water is still very important.
Goals: Meal Prepping for on the Go and continue with my Cooking 101. Me learning how to chop a cabbage the right way. I literally can be on the worst cooks ever LOL.
